Workshops for Adults

I offer group classes and 1-1 sessions focussing on:

Storytelling  - Puppet design and making - Operating puppets - Puppetry with creative writing

I am guest tutor at the School of Storytelling at Emerson College in Sussex and have also taught courses for adults with organisations including The Little Angel Theatre and Write and Shine.

I offer courses for beginners and for those with more experience.
Course participants have included people with a general interest in story/puppet work; storytellers; teachers (including INSET training); play workers; therapists and artists from other disciplines who may be seeking to add to their creative toolbox.

“I loved all of it - very well structured and paced, creative and practical. It has been enormously useful for my work both as a therapist and as a storyteller.”

- Sarah Deco, UK

Testimonials

“Thank you for the wonderful techniques you taught us, and for your consistent guidance and support. Your teaching has opened my heart to the puppet, and instilled me with a sense of faith and joy in my ability to work with it.”

- Caja Vanderpoel, Storyteller, Netherlands

“You created a wonderful cooperative, supportive environment for learning. I so appreciate you, your expertise and kind, warm delivery. I feel nourished by what we did and how we did it. I can hardly believe I achieved so much in such a short time!”

- Felicity Lamb, UK

“Bronia’s tuition was inspirational. She shared her knowledge so generously, taking the group step by step through each creative process. All of us on the course produced a really successful puppet.”

- Jackie Raby, participant, Puppetry and Storytelling with Nature course

“Thank you for the wonderful skill of felting puppets. I've made at least 3 more since the class and my son and I made one together today. It brings us
a lot of joy! I hope I can attend another course
with you in the future.”
